Privacy
Last updated 18 September 2026
We use limited, first-party statistics to understand how people respond to this experience and to improve it. We do not ask for your name or contact details, use advertising trackers, or try to identify you.
Who we are
How Much Is Too Much? is operated by the Extreme Wealth Line Initiative. Privacy enquiries can be made through the contact details published at extremewealthline.com.
What we collect
We record whether a play-through starts and reaches the ending, the answers and numerical choices made during it, and whether the main actions on the ending screen are used.
A random identifier keeps one play-through together while it is in progress. It is not used to recognise you on a later visit.
How we protect it
When a play-through finishes, its responses are separated from the temporary identifier and retained only for statistical analysis. Unfinished play-throughs are handled in the same way after a short period of inactivity.
We do not store names, contact details, advertising identifiers or browser fingerprints with these responses, and we do not use them to build profiles or make decisions about individuals.
Why we use the information
We use the results to understand how people engage with the experience, the choices they make and whether it affects their views.
How long we keep it
- Temporary play-through records are kept for no more than 24 hours after their last activity.
- Responses without the temporary identifier are kept for up to 12 months.
- Overall statistical totals may be kept for longer.
Service providers and sharing
We use Cloudflare to host, protect and store information for the website. They receive only the information needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
If you choose to share a result, that result is included in the shared link or image so that the recipient can see it.
Opt out
You can disable anonymous statistics on this browser. This stores one first-party preference—only the fact that you opted out—so the site can remember your choice.
Your rights
You may contact us with a privacy question or raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Because responses are not retained with your identity, we may not be able to connect a particular response to you.
